Our story
Since its 2013 launch, Puerto Vallarta Pride has been focused on mostly gay men. Women unfortunately have been underrepresented and in 2014 Pink and Proud started LGBTQ Women’s events during Pride but didn’t get much support from the rest of the community. With more LGBTQ women travelling to Puerto Vallarta as a destination we felt it was important to create safe and fun spaces for women to celebrate pride in one of the most gay friendly cities in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta.

Who are we
Our team is made up of Ladies Touch Events & Travel from Los Angeles/Puerto Vallarta, Madison the Promoter from New York City, Mishelle HavinFun from Los Angeles, and Pink & Proud Puerto Vallarta. Collectively we have over 30yrs of experience in hospitality and events. Pink & Proud’s team have three local businesses in Puerto Vallarta- Oculto, Elixir Mixology Bar, and Vallarta Local Food Tours.
